As far as Thunderlane is concerned, Peter Parker AKA Spider-Mane is an overrated chump who's brought a lot of trouble to Equestria since showing up. He also doesn't trust him very much, beliveving him to be a joke and a fraud. He wonders, what makes Peter better than other ponies?
Perhaps it's jealousy that causes Thunderlane to feel this way, not that he'll ever admit that. Now he aims to be the hero that Equestria needs, better than Spider-Mane.
